Experiencing trauma in childhood can have a lasting effect which can continue into adulthood if untreated. During childhood our assumptions about ourselves, others and the world are being formed. Our coping and relationship skills are being developed now also. At BLCP I, have worked with adults presenting with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) relating to childhood trauma as a result of sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, loss and bereavement.
