We are a purpose-built counselling studio located just a 10 minute walk from Lucan Village. The studio was established to provide a professional counselling / psychotherapy service from a qualified psychotherapist working within the guidelines and upholding the ethics of the IACP (Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists).
Michelle Mooney (MIACP)
I am a qualified Psychotherapist and a Garda vetted, Accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists). I work with individuals from age 16 and over. I pride myself on delivering a professional, confidential client centred service. I am concerned with discovering what my clients want to achieve from counselling/psychotherapy and in facilitating an environment where these achievements can hopefully be reached.

The counsellor/therapist facilitates an environment where thoughts, feelings and emotions are explored. Trust, confidentiality and a non-judgemental relationship between client and therapist are fundamental to the counselling/psychotherapy process. In addition, the therapist uses various theoretical interventions to help the client overcome issues which may be causing distress.
BLCP have morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday morning appointments. All sessions are by appointment only.
